Strolls and Panoramas

Suresnes offers many green areas with a stunning view of Paris.

Jacques Baumel promenade

Situated 162 metres high, Jacques Baumel park and walkway is a lovely stroll from where you can admire Paris, Suresnes, Rueil-Malmaison and Nanterre, and above all relax.

The walkway is an ideal place to jog, or also discover the cultural and natural wealth of the region. Covering an area of 25 hectares, Jacques Baumel walkway offers two paths: the first one on a slope includes a fitness trail; the second one further down is more adapted for simple walks. The presence of the knotted hedge parsley and the camelina, which is typical of the vineyards, shows the wine growing past of the site.

The site also has a skate park, tennis courts and also riding stables for horse riding fans.

NB: you can join a fitness session with qualified instructor every Sunday morning from 10am to 12am from September to June thanks to "Parcs'courons les Hauts-de-Seine". Meeting point: Place de l'Abbé Stock.

The tourist committee of the Hauts-de-Seine also has a cycle route going through Suresnes and the Mont-Valérien. The brochure is available at the tourist office.
