European Days of Crafts

16 artisans from Suresnes have decided to take up the challenge and be present for this event, which honors the excellence of craftsmanship.

After the cancellation of the European Days of Crafts, 16 craftsmen from Sures, united in a virtual collective, decided to take up the challenge and to be present anyway for this important event which highlights the honor the expertise of excellence of craftsmen.

Leaf gilder, creators of jewelry or natural cosmetics, creators of exceptional lighting, hand-painted wallpaper or decorative plasters, restorer of paintings, ceramists, sculptor on paper, decorative upholsterer, eco-responsible seamstress, craftsman leatherworker or cabinetmaker ... there are 16 in all who have agreed to play the game.

On the program: the creation of a common mosaic painting made up of 16 small 10x10 cm supports highlighting the art of each and assembled on site, accompanied by mini films presenting behind the scenes of the implementation and the different techniques of some and others.

During the JEMA at the national level, from April 6 to 11, these ideas and initiatives will be published and relayed on social networks, then the tables will be assembled on April 11.

At the same time, the craftsmen launched the # 10X10JEMA2021 challenge which will accompany FB and Instagram publications and will thus allow them to showcase their excellent know-how, as well as the complexity, patience, hard work and delicacy of the work, which underlie the various trades grouped under the generic term of artistic craftsmanship.

The 16 craftsmen: Jérôme Adenot (3 A R), cabinetmaker; Christine Avenet (Avenet workshops), foil gilder; Béatrice Balivet, jewelry designer; Henri Bursztyn, designer of lighting; Lydie Danaei (Mashid), jewelry designer; Claire Ducluzeau (La Plume du Peintre), restorer of paintings; Audrey Jezic (Audrey Jezic ceramics), ceramist; Pierre Gouazé (Mural signature), mural designer; Edith Juin (Edith Juin workshop), upholsterer; Annie Launay (Lili Margotton), eco-responsible sewing; François Mascarello (Studio François Mascarello), painter, sculptor and designer; Brigitte Mercy (Minikiwi), personalized porcelain; Hélène Pierucci (Po!), Leather craftsman; Agnès Quemper (O foot of my tree), sculptor on paper; Pascale Gal and Claire Auzouy (Les Huilettes) creators of natural cosmetics… and Maxime Salvi, (AND toque!) Chef and artist.
