Suresnes is home to a host of artisans and craftspeople who cultivate and perpetuate French expertise.
Having been awarded a grant from the Métropole du Grand Paris, or Greater Paris metropolitan area, the "La Verrière" gallery of artistic professions showcases the work of 12 creative artisans.
Designed to be a place where skills are shared and brought to life, the space offers 1000m² dedicated to creativity, with the aim of preserving unique artisan know-how and preventing artistic professions from dying out.
The building's Art Deco architecture mirrors the example of Parisian 'galéries', or retail arcades, with their glass roofs and window displays.
