Throughout the year, a wide variety of shows and plays are performed at the Jean Vilar Theatre.
The Jean Vilar Theatre is a historic building located in the Garden City quarter of Suresnes, and is under the leadership of Olivier Meyer. It is the venue for the town's annual contemporary dance festival Suresnes Cités Danse, which was founded in 1993.
Throughout the rest of the year, a wonderful array of shows and plays are performed—from circus and dance performances to classical and jazz music concerts.
From October to June, the programme features more than forty different shows. It is a season of culture that promises some unforgettable evenings of entertainment.
On Wednesdays, the theatre also offers performances for younger audiences, and free events where the public can meet the artistic teams, watch open rehearsals, or attend practical and staging analysis workshops.
